Partnering with Sanitas Brewing Company led to a second taco cart, solidifying their presence in Boulder's beer scene, while their "Super Heady Taco cart" propelled them onto the national stage. Transitioning from carts to a brick-and-mortar location in 2017 marked a significant milestone, followed by the addition of heady coffee co. in 2022. Their boldest move yet came with the opening of a rooftop restaurant and bar in Denver’s RiNo district atop the Vīb Hotel, showcasing both McDevitt classics and Denver-exclusive creations. Fresh off my graduation from CU in 2008, I went on to promote all shows for the The Fox Theatre. My dog, Bertha, and I spent 1000s of hours of our lives there and sold 10s of 1000s of concert tickets. I was awarded far too many stories to tell. There were some incredible people that took me under their wing at a VERY young age and taught me literally everything about the rock and roll business. It is a humbling honor to walk across that stage, that ultimately required us 5 years blood sweat and tears with some of the best musicians and friends ever to create Bear Hat. Now, my band, my music project - Bear Hat - has rocked out at the Fox Theatre, an experience I will never forget and that we as a group will build on for many years to come. Thanks to everyone for all of the support on this musical journey! Give us a listen.
