There is an abundance of opportunities for Buying, Selling, and Investing as we move into the Summer. The 1st half of 2024 has been a stark contrast to the 1st half of 2023 (when the dust was still settling from the FED's rise in interest rates, 2022). As rental rates continue to rise, I am experiencing more engagement with 1st time homebuyers (who are often pleasantly surprised by WAY more options than they thought possible). Oftentimes, "If you can rent you can own." Great Lenders will work directly backwards from your needs while guiding and providing you with a plethora of options. If it isn't quite adding up at this time, fear not! They will carve out a clear path for you to follow over the next 6-12 months to get qualified for a mortgage loan. The man behind this comforting cuisine is Efrain Gomez, who built his restaurant on a foundation of recipes passed down by his mother, Rosalia, a native of Chihuahua, Mexico. After working in Boulder restaurants since the ’70s, Gomez opened the first Efrain’s Mexican Restaurant in Lafayette in 1991. Roughly six years later, he turned that operation over to his siblings, and has sinced launched locations in Boulder and Longmont. Efrain's dishes are prepared in the authentic Northern Chihuahua style, a high altitude desert region where he grew up. The chilies are fiery and the flavors are robust!

The Fretliners (Tom Knowlton - guitar, Sam Parks - mandolin, Dan Andree - fiddle, Taylor Shuck - bass) are a genuine and powerful bluegrass quartet recognized for their songwriting and undeniable chemistry. Their newfound camaraderie produces an energy that is as infectious on stage as it is on record. So much so that in the summer of 2023, they won both band competitions at Telluride Bluegrass and Rockygrass Festivals—a feat that had only been accomplished once before. That September, they released their debut eponymous album to acclaim and adoration. Check it out here. The Fretlineers will headline McAwesomefest on Saturday night.
